BHS is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to help support our growing business. This individual will report to the President and will be a key member of the management team.
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for the strategic leadership of all aspects of human resources throughout the U.S businesses. S/he will be responsible for managing a professional Human Resources Department to include oversight of talent acquisition and onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, organizational development activities, and employment law compliance. Conducting management education in areas such as interviewing, employee relations, and performance management practices will also be a primary focus.
This hands-on role requires the ability to blend details and big picture thinking. The candidate must possess self-motivation, customer-focus, and a positive demeanor in all areas as well as the proven ability to multi-task between several activities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years HR management experience providing support in multi-site manufacturing environments that are heavily engineering and metal fabrication oriented, provided consultative leadership in growth oriented operationally focused organizations, and embrace a culture of continuous improvement. Bachelors degree or higher required.
